LAST DAY OF SCHOOL SCAVENGER HUNT
When coming up an end of year celebration activity for my students, it just didn’t seem feasible to do many of the activities I typically do like my “Dig Into Summer Learning Bucket” and Character Rocks. Plus, I figured many of my students were craving the same things that I was craving during this social distancing time: a reason to celebrate, getting out & doing something fun, and my friends. So, I created a social distancing scavenger hunt to celebrate this year and the accomplishments of my students, give them something fun to do, and a sense of community that we are all celebrating together…at a very far distance!
The hunt is comprised of 4 tasks.
1) Dress up in school spirit
2) Do an act of kindness for a classmate
3) Stop by our local cookie shop for a cookie!
4) Drive over to school and share a moment that you loved from this year with your family. Then, hold up your sign, take a bite of your cookie, and snap a picture.
I made the hunt clues editable and included a sign for each grade level in case you wanted something that was pretty easy but loads of fun for your students to remember this year by! Just click the image below to download it.
